Seattle Statistics

Here are some statistics I found today on Seattle...
  • 50.1% Female
  • 70.1% Caucasian
  • Average temperature in July - 75*F
  • Average temperature in January - 46*F
  • Estimated population in 2010: 3,641,200
  • 47.2% citizens have a BA or higher
  • 20 newspapers located and ciculated in Seattle

  • 162 libraries
  • 6,838 restaurants
  • 21.74% of population are between the ages of 25 and 34 years

Now here are some statistics which hurt my ears and make my heart pump faster...
  • Of protestant pastors, only 64% have a biblical worldview
  • 8% of the total population are evangelical (This is the same as China!)
  • 150,000 dogs vs. 136,000 evangelical christians
  • Washington and Oregon are the two least churched states in the US
  • Nationally there are 106 churches per 100,000 people. In Seattle there are only 66 churches per 100,000

head overwhelmed and in the clouds

Looking forward to this view...

Back on the home-front and back down to my feet... I'm becoming overwhelmed with what I've signed up for. Promoting two concerts without a car is ridiculously hard. I wish I had a direct IV line of wisdom, energy, motivation, and time pumping into my veins...

Walking and Tearing

Yesterday I laid in bed plotting out a walking route to Melissa's house. 4.6 miles into my walk she picked me up out of sheer guilt. I've never been that dedicated to a TV show before. Now I feel kinda guilty...but exercised nonetheless.

I called Mom today. We both admitted our fear and apprehension about moving out of Texas. She made me tear-up.
